I love this may for when I stand for work/studying.
In teleworking I sit too much so I have a standing desk now to not be too sedentary
But standing so much is tiring on my feet especially since I was sitting for so long before going to a standing desk.
This mat makes it much nicer on my feet and I get to work on muscle improvement in my legs.
Really happy with my new World Rug Gallery Distressed Traditional Vintage Design Anti Fatigue Standing Mat - Gray 18"x30" it's stylish, brightens up my kitchen and is very comfy to stand on, a huge relief for my back when working in the kitchen
I’ve been wanting an anti-fatigue mat for the kitchen because we have hard floors, and after standing at the sink or counter for an extended period of time, my feet start to hurt. This may definitely helps relieve some of that pressure and discomfort, and I also like how it looks! The design is neutral and versatile but aesthetically pleasing, and it fits perfectly in front of the sink. I’m actually considering getting a matching longer mat to stretch in front of both the sink and counter space and moving this mat in front of the stove instead. In the meantime though, this is great when I’m doing the dishes! It also has a rubbery texture that keeps it from slipping, and it also makes it resistant to spills. Very happy with this mat! Just what I’ve been wanting!
My *one* small complaint is that the plastic holding the tag on to the mat was difficult to remove. One piece (the long “bar” shaped side) seems to have gone through the back of the mat, making it just about impossible to fully remove. I can’t pull it through the front side though, so I’ve just trimmed it down as much as I can. I think it’s short enough that I won’t have to worry about stepping on it, even when compressing it, but it was quite the annoyance!
To start on a good point the rug is soft and nice to stand on. You could definitely stand on it for awhile and be happy. Now for the bad... It's got a pretty cheap print on it. It's also not sticking to the floor well. Needs something for hard wood floors... Not the safest rug I own.
Perfect mat for the kitchen. It definitely helps when you are standing for a little bit doing dishes, cutting, or whatever your doing. The color gray & the pattern will go with pretty much any decor. Love this mat !
I love this mat! it’s so pretty and matches so nicely in my home. i’m the dishwasher at home so this may has helps so much with my back pain and achy joints when i’m standing for so long. I would definitely look into other styles and patterns
I got this anti fatigue standing mat a little bit ago and I am so glad that I did! Not only is it stylish it really does the job! Makes it so comfortable to stand and do what you gotta do in the kitchen. Would recommend!
The world rug gallery anti fatigue standing mat is not what I was expecting. It gave off an awful smell when out of the package and needed to stay outside for a day. It has a plastic type surface that is good for clean up, but is not comfortable under bare feet as it sticks to you. It also isn't a long term standing mat. It is soft, memory foam type core, but it does squish down quickly and leaves you basically standing on the hard floor again. It's ok, but not impressed.
